As the warmer days return, the large garden at Domaine Majorelle comes back to life: flower beds in bloom, fresh green lawns, and terraces perfect for breakfast in the sun. It's also when the heated pool reopens, in early May, for a season running through the end of September.
Spring is a great time to discover the Avenue Verte, a former railway line turned into a safe cycling path linking Forges-les-Eaux to Dieppe over nearly 45 km, right through the Norman countryside. Several shorter loops, including a family-friendly one, start directly from Forges-les-Eaux.
Forges-les-Eaux markets are held on Thursday and Sunday mornings, notably at the Halle Baltard: seasonal vegetables, cider, dairy products and honey from the Pays de Bray. The Bray Gourmand guide, published by the tourist office, lists local producers selling direct.
